One week performance recreating the “Fall of Men” to the “Light of Creation”. The production is conceived as a whole, following six episodes, which together create a fragmental image of the Biblical Genesis. The audience is free to see one or several of these episodes, since each one of them is independent.
Using recorded and streaming projections, Bereshit explores different theatrical esthetics. Its dramaturgy pretends to escape a textual adaptation and ventures a tematical construction that would manifest the spiritual and existential enquiry of the contemporary man.
Directed by Xisi Sofia Ye Chen in collaboration with Alex Monneer, Oriol Guanyabens and Pablo Macho Otero.
